September 16 - October 26. 2025

Straz Center for the Performing Arts
1010 N. W. C. MacInnes Place
Tampa, FL 33602

Keaton starred as the title role in Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa, Florida. Written by Gordon Greenberg and Steve Rosen, this fast-paced, five-actor farce is a wildly irreverent take on Bram Stoker’s classic—filled with lightning-fast costume changes, campy humor, and a touch of bite.

Directed by Gordon Greenberg himself, the production ran September 16 – October 26, 2025 as part of the Straz Center’s Broadway season. Keaton took on the cape as Dracula, a role originally played by James Daly in the Off-Broadway and West End premiere.

A fast-paced, laugh-out-loud farce, Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors turns the iconic gothic tale on its head. Five fearless actors take on dozens of characters in a whirlwind of quick changes, physical comedy, and razor-sharp wit, reimagining Bram Stoker’s classic with modern humor and theatrical bravado. Equal parts spooky and hilarious, this irreverent romp breathes fresh life into the legendary vampire story.

“It’s Rydell High in 1959 and the duck-tailed, hot-rodding 'Burger Palace Boys' and the gum-snapping, hip-shaking 'Pink Ladies' rule the roost. After a summer romance, Danny and Sandy are unexpectedly reunited for their senior year, but can they survive the good and bad times at Rydell High?”
